Why not a translation app
A translation app puts a phone between two people.
This puts nothing between the speaker and the room. Nobody holds up a phone. Nobody takes turns. They speak exactly as they always would.
And if a voice fails, the words still arrive. Captions and audio travel separately, because silence is the failure people actually notice.

Anyone can speak
Turn on Talk and any attendee can hold a button on their phone and speak in their own language. Everyone else hears it in theirs, and those who share it read the original words.
One at a time
Raising a hand puts them in line. Leave the floor open, or let the organiser choose who speaks next.

Your speaker isn’t limited to English either. They can speak any of 71 languages, among them Swahili, Hindi, Hausa, Yorùbá and Nigerian Pidgin, and everyone still listens in their own.
Including 16 that most services leave out
Yorùbá, Hausa, Nigerian Pidgin, Akan, Oromo, Kinyarwanda and more. We run these voices ourselves, so nobody in the room is the one person left out.
